Zeno is a specialist independent provider of innovative and dynamic services for adults with a learning disability and associated developmental impairments. We provide a complete life approach, from supporting young people in their family home through to supporting adults of all ages within the community. We support people across the whole spectrum of developmental impairments, including the autistic spectrum and associated mental health impairments. We also support individuals with acquired brain injuries to step down from hospitals or other secure environments, increasing independence, choice and promoting self-determination.
At Zeno, we specialise in supporting people to take part in community therapeutic activities, such as hiking in the Peak District, rock climbing, horse riding, cycling, swimming and boating. We also help our supported people to lead independent lives. This involves teaching them how to prepare meals, use a washing machine, manage their own finances and look after their home.
We can offer support to a person in their family home/own home or within one of our 24-hour supported living services. We can provide support in an emergency, for respite periods or for life.
Our aim is to promote and support independence, choice and social inclusion for people with a Learning Disability, ABI, or mental health disorders, within a supportive, safe, social and stimulating network.
